Huxlee the Valais Sheep
Huxlee and his brother Hartley joined the Sweet Memories Farm family in 2020 as bottle babies. They came from an Ohio farm that was part of a “breed-up” program to bring the “cutest sheep in the world” (google that) to the United States.
The Valais Blacknose is a beautiful and unique breed of sheep that until recently was not available in the U.S. Our boys are 2 nd generation Valais crosses, so they don’t carry all of the Valais characteristics, but they do show many of them. We feel very fortunate to have these comical boys on our farm and we love telling their story to visitors.
