Meet Patience

Patience the Alpaca

Patience has been with us since the fall of 2015. Patience originally got her name because she was kind of a menace so you needed extra patience to put up with her antics.

As Patience grew up she turned into the most “patient” alpaca on the farm, allowing most visitors to pet and love on her. It is not uncommon for Patience to “cush” (lay down) when visitors are in the pen with her, this is a sign of her comfortableness with everyone and she welcomes hugs, petting and even sitting or laying next to her to get the perfect photo.

Patience is definitely one of the farm favorites in the alpaca yard and also the mom to one special little boy born here on the farm in May of 2020.
